Designed in 1929-1930 for the Tugendhat House in Brno, Czechoslovakia the Brno chair mirrors the ground breaking simplicity of its original environment.
The designer chair is a modernist cantilever chair consisting of a steel frame in a single piece, bent into a C-shape.

Although not as famous as Mies Van Der Rohe's Barcelona chair a simple profile clean lines and meticulous attention to detail have elevated the steel & leather Brno chair to an icon of twentieth century furniture design and a modern furniture classic.
