Construction of the Barcelona Chair

Our version of the Barcelona Chair in soft Italian semi aniline Dark Brown leather with thick saddle leather white straps and is equally as luxurious as the original Bauhaus design. The frame unlike the cheaper chrome version is constructed from heavy gauge 12mm flat polished stainless steel (grade 304) and reassuringly heavy. The scissor like metal work is welded into a single piece with the straps riveted into the frame. The cushions are sewn from individual panels of cow hide with matching piping and decorated with hand tufted buttons.
