This designer chairs slender shell is carved out of a single piece of moulded plywood and sits on a mirrored chromed four leg base,making the Series 7 a stackable chair and an ideal space saver.

An expansion of Jacobsen's first moulded plywood chair the Ant chair 3101 produced in 1951. The series 7 butterfly chair has a more an instantly recognisable hourglass shape and used in many films, adverts and photographed famously with Christine Keeler .
