The original Charles and Ray Eames design evolved along with the rest of the Eames Aluminium Group from chairs created for a private residence designed by Eero Saarinen and Alex Girard.

Although first produced in the 1940’s it is still the definitive office chair today and one of the greatest furniture designs of the past century, combining cutting edge materials with traditional leather working skills.
The Eames ribbed or thin back office chair has a distinctive profile and ergonomic cradle supporting the body in its correct posture, providing an extremely comfortable and snug fit.
The chair also features full pneumatic (gas) height and swivel adjustment and tension adjustment for tilting the chair backwards.

Our reproduction like the original Eames EA119 is crafted to the highest standards, Italian White leather supported by a 5 star polished aluminium base which is as close to the original design as possible.
