Le Corbusier Chaise Longue LC4
Functional and fluid this is a beautiful reproduction of Le Corbusier's Chaise Longue LC4. Guarenteed to bring a touch of elegance to any room this enduring piece of Bauhaus designer furniture appears to be floating in space above its steel supports.
History of the LC4 Chaise Longue
The LC4 Chaise longue was designed in 1928 by the Architect Le Corbusier with the help of Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand and affectionately termed by Le Corbusier himself the “relaxing machine”.
This forward thinking Designer Chair is a permanent fixture in the Museum of Modern Art and arguably the most famous chaise longue ever produced.
Construction of the LC4
The soft Italian White leather cushions and head rest sit on the bow shaped chromed steel and lacquered black frame. With the exposed structural elements the chaise almost looks as if it is floating. The designer chairs seat can be pitched as required and mirrors the body’s natural curves for guaranteed contentment.
Also Available in black leather LC4. If you require another leather colour please contact our sales team.
