The Eames Coffee Table ETR

Like much of there work the Eames Elliptical coffee table ETR is born of sheer simplistic brilliance. Often affectionately termed the surfboard coffee table because of its striking resemblance. The Eames Coffee table is an oval long low elegant modern coffee table perfectly suited to along sofa, a set of designer chairs or simply just displaying ornaments.

History of the Eames coffee table

The Eames coffee table was first introduced in 1951. Having previously employed the technique of welding wire rods together with the Eames DKR wire chair, Charles and Ray set about to use the technique again to great effect with the base of this modern coffee table.

Materials of the ETR coffee table

True to the original design, our inspired version of this magnificent designer coffee table is composed of black lacquered birch plywood table top with a bevelled edge. This is supported by a steel framework of rods welded together to form two solid chrome towers. Our version is available in either;
