History of the Isamu Noguchi Coffee Table

Isamu Noguchi was a Japanese/American Artist and a renowned sculptor as well as a designer. The influence of his passion for sculpting is evident in his 1947 designer coffee table which still sits comfortably in today’s modern setting.

Materials of the Isamu Noguchi Coffee Table

The 19mm tempered glass table top with rounded edges rests on two identical ash wood finish wooden legs are inverted and placed at right angles to each other forming a tripod. Our beautiful inspired version of this designer coffee table is true to Noguchi’s original design for the Herman Miller Company.
