Isamu Noguchi Coffee Table

History of the Isamu Noguchi Coffee Table

Isamu Noguchi was a Japanese/American Artist and a renowned sculptor as well as a designer. The influence of his passion for sculpting is evident in his 1947 designer coffee table which still sits comfortably in today’s modern setting. In 1980 a Museum was established in Long Island New York displaying of his life's work .

The 19mm tempered glass table top with rounded edges rests on two identical walnut finish wooden legs are inverted and placed at right angles to each other forming a tripod. Our beautiful inspired version of this designer coffee table is true to Noguchi’s original design for the Herman Miller Company.
